Is the Xbox 360 Final Fantasy XIII version the same thing as an Xbox 360 Elite?

I have a Motorola DVR DCT6412 cable box. Can I record what I play on my Xbox 360 with this?

I know there are input and output ports on this device, and I was wondering if it could capture what I play and use it as a capture card. Also, could I plug it into my computer and save the videos there?

I can't get the ethernet cord for Xbox because i want the xbox in my room but it cost 100 dollors and 50 dollars a year for the xbox opposed to the PS3 free. And i hear alot of people saying that there are no good games out for the PS3 but there is Little Big Planet, God of War 3, Killzone 2, and Uncharted 2. But Xbox has Halo Reach (Coming out soon), Lost Planet 2, Skate 3, Battlefield Bad Company 2, and Fable 3. The decision is really hard for me, but most of my friends have xbox live and some of them have PSN.

Final fantasy XIII help....."Lake Bresha"?

I just bought FFXIII for Xbox 360 and i just got to the part in lake Bresha where i have to fight the "Garuda Interceptor", the huge robot dragon lookin' thing,lol. He comes in 2 phases, you have to weaken him and then in phase 2 he charges up for the last fight, but for some reason i cant defeat it,lol....I die every time he does that one gigantic blast, everytime i blast him from a distance and go up to him and slash him it doesent even effect him,lol....what paradigm should i be in? in what order should i shift paradigms? and what are the best attacks for this particular boss? Ive watched some youtube vids but they are very short and lack explanation,lol....for those who play, what are some good tips on beating the Garuda Interceptor in Lake Bresha??? I just get frustrated every time and quit,lol. Thanks :-)

Fix Xbox 360 or buy new one?

Have an Xbox 360 that is ~ 3 to 4 years old. The system is freezing up (not the RROD). I went through Microsoft's support pages on system freezes (cleared system cache, took off HD, tried different disks, offline/online) & it appears to be in need of repair. According to the website - a self initiated repair request costs $99. I can purchase a new Xbox 360 for $199.00

Do you feel it would be worth it to spend the $199 on a new system? (considering the existing system is older) I would be concerned with other parts malfunctioning.

If I decide to purchase a new system, would anybody suggest I look at the PS3 instead?

I was planning on selling some old xbox 360 games to buy another copy of fallout 3 GotY edition (my old one broke) with little to no net loss

OH **** I DELETED MY XBOX 360 PROFILE!?

Balls! I was trying to get rid of this useless account on my 360 which I created for a completely useless purpose, but I accidentally deleted my main profile instead and all the items. When I recovered my profile I still have all my g which I couldnt care about less, and all the stuff I downloaded from the marketplace, but all the saves for every game I had are gone! Is there any way to recover them?

Maybe they still exist somewhere because the amount of space I had on my hard drive did not change even though all the saves are gone.
Well so far the 3 comments are useless proving once again that yahoo answers is run by idiots.

1) I dont have to re-download marketplace stuff, it was not removed

2) If you read the description it does say that I have recovered my profile, the problem is the saves

3) No they are not there but I did not delete each one manually, I just deleted the profile and items. Obviously you can recover the profiles but where the hell are my saves??. You really think I didnt check the hardrive? THATS THE FIRST THING I DID!

I see that Target has the BDP5010 Blue-Ray player for $80 now. It has an ethernet port, and can play DivX files. Does anyone know if I can stream videos shared on a Windows computer (Windows 7 Ultimate, specifically)? Currently I am using an Xbox 360, but want to setup another TV and don't want to shell out $200 for another Xbox.

Get back UPS shipment??? Help!?

Okay so I have a broken Xbox 360, and was going to send it to Microsoft to be repaired. So I got the shipping label and sent it with UPS. I accidentally canceled the repair with Microsoft and in panic reordered it and got the label. Now, my 360 is in Texas, Microsoft received it. Do you think Microsoft will still repair it? I usually fortified luck and sneak instant kill with mehrune razor. But I can't sneak on him even with 100% chameleon. My magic and enchanted weapons does not do damage to him, he just resist, absorb, or reflect them. And usually the guy that helping gets killed easily by carmoran's kids then I'll end up fighting 3 of them at once. I don't feel like making another character and starting all over again. How can I kill him with this character?

Just recently i joined a party with 2 of my friends. All of a sudden i notice that I cannot hear one and he cannot hear me. We didn't mute each other and we were both in party chat. i could only hear one of my friends. Its still happening to this day with the same friend. If y'all could help, I would appreciate it.
